F-16 Throttle Quadrant System
Complete your arsenal of controls with the F-16 TQS Throttle Quadrant System. The ultimate
in control and precision - the F-16 TQS is a true replica of the actual throttle quadrant
found in the F-16/Mod 50 Fighting Falcon. The TQS is a perfect compliment to ThrustMaster's
award winning F-16 FLCS stick.
The F-16 TQS features a targeting cursor control (mouse emulation), two dials (Antenna and
Range), two three-position switches (Dogfight and Speed Brake), and one four-way (Radio
Switch). Moving the handle fore and aft provides thrust control and like the WCS II, detents
exist to indicate idle and afterburner entry. The F-16 TQS is completely user configurable
allowing the user total flexibility in setting up all the dials, switches, and throttle input.
Like the WCS II, the TQS can be configured to generate one keyboard
character per button press or exotic macros, repeating strings, etc. The choice is yours.
Create your own configuration file or use one of the files included with the TQS programming
software.
In typical ThrustMaster tradition, there are a number of additional features to the TQS. The
ability to program rudder pedals for digital input is now offered and the cursor control can
be used in conjunction, or in the place of your mouse. Never before has so much versatility
been offered anywhere.
The TQS comes with a 15-pin standard IBM game card connector on a 6' cable. The base is 7"
wide x 7 1/2" long, 2" deep, and 7" high and is constructed of ABS plastic, Delrin, and
glass-filled nylon.
The TQS requires the F-16 FLCS to operate.
