(NASDAQ: TMSR) the leading manufacturer of interactive controls for PC-based entertainment proudly announces the highly anticipated release of Pro Play Golf - "The Home Course". Pro Play Golf is the first PC entertainment simulator available to the home PC market that allows golfers to use their own clubs.
Designed for IBM and compatible computers, Pro Play Golf transforms the home PC into a golf swing analyzer and simulated golf course. Golfers use their own clubs to swing over the electronic platform which embodies a series of light sensors. The sensors detect the club speed, clubface angle, club height and direction of follow-through. The separate Swing Analyzer software included with the package processes the data from the electronic unit and then displays the information in a readable graph. The Swing Analyzer software also includes a Golf Pro Advisor option, which provides tips on improving each golf swing.
In addition to the swing analysis capability, Access Software has modified its award-winning Links 386 software game to support the Pro Play Golf system. Pro Play Golfers can now drive, chip, and putt their way through 18 holes with the included Links 386 game provided on disk. This special version of Links 386 features Harbour Town Golf Links located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Many other exciting Links courses by Access Software can also be used with the Pro Play Golf system when the modified Links 386 software is installed.
