(NASDAQ: TMSR), a recognized innovator in designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing PC gaming controls today announced that Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ) is bundling ThrustMaster’s feature-packed Phazer gamepad with Compaq’s high-performance Ultimate Multimedia Presario PC’s beginning this holiday season. Terms of the arrangement were not announced.
The Phazer Pad, jointly designed by ThrustMaster and Compaq, is the ultimate gamepad created primarily for sports and action PC games and offers a dynamic combination of advanced functions including complete programmability. It features an impressive ergonomic design, an eight-way directional pad, six buttons, two triggers, and a throttle wheel. The Phazer Pad’s unique optic based technology provides both digital and analog power to the game player. ThrustMaster will also release a retail version of the Phazer Pad through its retail outlets in August.
